Creme De Menthe – A Pop of Pastel
Hello everyone. Well here we are, finally, FINALLY basking in some warm sunshine here in our little corner of Europe. It’s Easter Friday and the roads are empty, save for people popping out to get their bottles of rose wine and last minute Easter eggs – it IS the Bank Holiday after all.
Now is the time to get your summer clothes out of hibernation and pop out those pastels. How do you feel about pastel jeans? Pale minty delicate toothpaste green ones to be precise? The ones I showcase here were purchased from The Outnet (Similar here) for £38 a few weeks back and are by quality label J Brand. I wanted a quick fix away from my regular dark leggings and blue jeans. Something casual and everyday that would cry out Spring with abandon. I think I’ve succeeded. For extra measure I wore a white top with cutout shoulders from Parisian brand Maje ( again The Outnet sale) and to add contrast and texture an investment piece in the form of a butter soft tan leather jacket (worthy of its own blogpost surely?)
I love the overall look I have to say. It’s fresh, easy and no fuss and felt just right for Portobello Road in London (where I did the photoshoot). The pastel green jeans could be interchanged with jeans in any other candy or Battenberg cake hues. A pale pink, a fuchsia, coral, lemon yellow, buttermilk, baby blue, cobalt blue, pistachio or even a more neon green if you fancied a 90s vibe. Take your pick. Heck why not just go for a plain white jean a la Liz Hurley?
Hope you like the pictures and don’t forget to scroll down to the bottom for my edit of pastel jeans and white tops (and some little extras) available now – especially for you! Enjoy! 🙂
